Winner of French Video Competition at Taylor's University French Week 2016

My group participated in the French Quiz and Games as well as the French Video Competition in conjunction with the Frech Week 2016. The competition was open to all students of the various faculties where french was taught as a language. The purpose of the French Week was to promote the use of the language and awareness of the French culture amongst the students.
Our video entitled Bisous Bisous was eventually selected as the winner of the video competition.
Food Promo;
'A Night in Tropical Paradise'

The Food Promo was led by students from Group 1 and 2 of Batch 8 of Diploma in Hotel Management. This event not only enriched the students’ culinary knowledge but also exposed them to planning and organising an event from scratch. Students showcased their skills in event management, crisis management, and handling of logistics and coordination with sponsors. This is a chance for students to think outside the box, and bring all their creativity together to bring an event come to life. Not only that, students are involved in designing the food products and menu and planning marketing strategies.
I was the Master of Ceremony on the evening, as well as being a member of the service team for the event.
Adventure Race

The Adventure Race 2015 is a 3-leg race event that involves travelling to different locations both within and outside the borders of Selangor. This race requires teams of 2 to complete various tasks.
Although it consists of running, my partner and I got to experience not only the magnificent city of Kuala Lumpur but also the beautiful nature of Perak through exciting and extreme sports and activities.
Kampung Quest is a reality game show produced in Malaysia. In the show, contestants are divided into two camps; one isolated in the jungle and the other in a 'kampung' (village) house. Each day the camps compete in challenges where they can earn survival items. The contestants are progressively eliminated at a campfire where members of the camp vote off one another .
I was eventually crowned the winner of Kampung Quest Season 2 after managing to survive 12 days competing in physical and social challenges and out-doing 11 other competitors. I am most proud of this win as this is testimony to the strength of my character and tenacity and as how others described as my “never say die” attitude!

Short + Sweet Theatre is a yearly competition for amateur actors and actresses organised by the KL Performing Arts Council.
In this play called Partner, Pattna, I played a supporting role of a newly wed Mat Salleh daughter-in-law to a conservative nyonya.
The synopsis of the play is as follows:
Two nyonyas burn up the phone line discussing their children - why children are like this and like that, so ungrateful, so caught up with their own lives...until Mrs Chia discovers a truth that will shut her up forever.
